Team HRA, a youth football club today presented two trophies to the Chairman, Odiolowo-Ojuwoye LCDA, Hon Rasaq Olusola Ajala, in his office.
The team's coach and the Technical Adviser, Azeez Mustapha, and Ilori Lukman led the team to present the trophies.
The team has four categories of youth clubsβ the under 8, 13,16, and female teams.
While welcoming the team into his office, Hon. Ajala thanked the team for making the LCDA proud.
"I thank you for the energy, the zeal, and other indices deplored to make Odiolowo-Ojuwoye LCDA proud in the competition," HRA said.
"For us to come this far, it shows we have more goodies you will bring to the LCDA
"Even though I was not physically present in all of the competitions, I have the privilege of watching the novelty match between Team HRA and Team Fayinka, and I can say without mincing words that you performed excellently," the chairman added.
"I want to plead with you that you should put in more effort. I do not doubt that you will not only be celebrated within our country but globally," Ajala concluded.
The under-8 team and 16 thrashed their opponents from Mushin with two goals to one respectively.
While the under-8 engaged Robo Football Club, the under-16 played against Leyon Blessing Football Club.
The under 13 team and the female team came second in their matches.
While the under-13 played against Robo Club of Mushin, the female team played against Spring Star from Surulere.
The team's coach Azeez Mustapha, and the Technical Adviser Ilori Lukman thanked the council boss for his support and prayed he continue to succeed in everything he does.
