ODI-OLOWO OJUWOYE LCDA'S FREE GCE - STUDENTS WRITE MOCK EXAMINATIONS TODAY.

Students across Odiolowo/Ojuwoye LCDA today sat for the MOCK examination that will qualified them to obtain free GCE forms sponsored by Odiolowo/Ojuwoye LCDA under the leadership of Hon Rasaq Olusola Ajala..
The examination took place at Ilupeju senior grammar school in Oshodi. Over one thousand students sat for the examination. Students that meet the cut off marks will be given GCE forms by the council freely..
Hon Ajala said this is the second edition of the exercise since inception of this administration as the executive chairman but the program actually started while he was the Executive Secretary of the council making it the third time. He said the exercise has brought the best out of the students..
He said: " The MOCK examination has brought out the reading culture among the students and this has improved their performance in the external examination, GCE..
" If they get it on the plata of gold they may not appreciate the exercise and likelihood of failures is very high. .
We decided to walk this path because we have gotten positive results in the previous exercises." He said. He said:" Eighty percent of the forms will be given out to the qualified candidates while the remaining twenty will go out to other stakeholders who have been supporting our party and our government, like the religious group, market men/women, Community development Associations and of course, the political leaders who have been supporting us in terms of sensitization and advocacy in our various programs. .
Talking about the credibility of the conduct of the MOCK examination, the chairman said: " To enhance the credibility of the process, we employed the service of public school teachers to invigilate the examination and the Nigerian Union of Teachers to do the Conference markings simultaneously.
We are also doing this to assured the people that they don't need to know people in government before they can benefit from the system because our philosophy is Common pool for Common Benefits ". He concluded.
